I know I should get going. I really should. Dinner was delicious and lovely, and Ben has been nothing but a respectful gentleman the whole time. On one hand, I KNOW he’s trying to make up for our intense first night together by taking it slow now. He’s being chivalrous and all that nonsense, and I should be thankful that he’s trying to show me how serious he is about us.

But on the other hand, I’m horny as hell, what the fuck? Why should I have to wait because he has some misplaced sense of chivalry?

I’m by myself in the living room, cozy under a blanket while the movie John Wick 2 is paused on the screen. I was hoping for some under the clothes action tonight but that hasn’t happened yet. We had to pause the film because Ben accidentally spilled wine on his shirt and had to go soak it before the stain sets. Because he’s an adult. Who soaks things. Needless to say, Ben has real wine glasses.

There’s a tiny evil voice telling me to go find him. I’m pretty sure he’s in his bedroom, and he might even be shirtless. I want to make a move, but I’m slightly nervous.

Without giving myself too much time to think, I make my way down the hallway where Ben disappeared earlier. As I’m tip-toeing down the hall like some sort of horny cat burglar, I hear his light humming coming from a bedroom at the end of the hall. Just as I round the corner, the door opens and out walks Ben, nearly knocking me over. Once I take a look at his sexy body, I do almost fall over just from the glory of it.

“Shoot, I’m sorry, you okay?” he asks.

I stare at him, mouth agape. I should move, I should say something. But I’m stuck in the hallway, staring at this perfect specimen and wondering if it’s possible to have an orgasm from just looking at someone. Can you blame me? I mean he’s got the damn glasses on again and everything. Who gave him permission to be this sexy? And when did I turn into such a wanton hussy? I’m not even sure I know the definition of a hussy, but at this moment, the descriptor seems appropriate. And I can’t bring myself to care.

He watches me watch him for a moment, his initial concern transforming into amused patience. Finally, he clears his throat and breaks me out of my hormone-addled stupor.

“Baby, did you need something? Is it too cold in the living room?”

I can’t believe he could be worried about the temperature at a time like this. If anything, he should be concerned that I’m about to burn up on the spot. I shake my head and feel my body propel forward as I throw myself at his hard chest. I don’t think, I don’t question. I just act, reaching up to grab the back of his head and pulling him down toward me.

He resists for a split second but then meets my mouth in an urgent kiss.
